Question: Are washburn guitars good?

I'm planning to buy an electric guitar, and Washburn has caught my eye. what can you say about these guitars? are they good? i'm a starter guitarist.

I used to really like Washburn, but the quality of the guitars has really dropped big time...lots of cheap parts. The more expensive Washburns are really nice, but anything under $500 from them is a waste of money; you'll be disappointed. If you want something a little more 'unique' than the ol' boring Strats and Paul's.....try checking out ESP or Jackson. They both make great quality at the $250-$300 mark that will last you.
