There are alot of good books that you can use to teach youself how to play... I would go to a music store and get a book that teaches how to read notes... you will be happy that you can later. And then get another book that teaches chords... If you want to learn songs go to e-chords.com they have songs that are USUALLY correct and it makes learning notes and chords funner. Good Luck!
