Why are martin guitars so expensive?
what really makes a guitar cost so much more and sound so much better i mean i customize guitars and i know the basics but i wanna know what it is that allows say martin to sell a guitar new for say 3000 dollars when the guitar cost 32.95 to makeGreat answers you guys have been ever so helpful. I never even thought of that. I was trying to decide if i should blow a whole lot of money on a martin. I played it a little but i really wont know till i record with it. thanx youve persuaded me. dont mind my uneeded ignorance , thanx guys

I'm 15 years old, and I have been playing guitar for about 7 months. I currently have a cheap Jay Jr. acoustic guitar that I have learned on and has been an ok guitar, but I am interested in getting a new one acoustic electric for playing in church, etc. Would this be a good choice of guitar? I'm looking at three different Acoustic Electric guitars, and want to know which is best of the three. They are 000CX1E, DCME, and 00CXAEblackI'm going to buy my boyfriend one for his birthday , a surprise, and these are the three I know he looked at recently. wouldnt it be hard to know what fret you're on? iv been playing guitar for awhile and im not a newbie but it still seems pretty hard to say " this is this fret and i am sure" without any inlays

hey, i want to know which martin guitar model you recommend me under 1000 dollars to buy. It can be etheir acoustic or acoustic electric. How can I get the body of a Martin Guitar repaired?
I've got a 1947 Martin D 28 that has been passed through the family. It has some scratches on the body surface. There are some scratches in the wood and, for lack of a better term, a chip or two in the wood as well. I'd like to get it touched up a bit if possible. Up close the body looks a little beat up so I'd like to get it looking nice again. How do I go about getting something like this taken care of? I don't want to bring it to the local guitar shop. I think I should have a trusty expert handle this guitar.
I have a martin guitar, should have a serial number on it but it don't. Is this a piece of junk or not?
