Learn How To Play Guitar & Guitar Accessories

Question: Should i try to learn the guitar or keyboard?

I'm starting singing classes soon, and I've played the flute for 7 years. I'll also have classes on music theory and perception. My question is, as I already play the flute, I'm interested in learning an instrument that let me play harmonics (to complement the singing classes), but, which one do you guys recommend? I'll have to "learn " it on my own, because I just can't afford any more classes. Sorry for my english, not my native language. :)

Keyboard is nice to learn and probably faster to learn than guitar but that's just my opinion on it.

There's nothin wrong with your English!! Hmm tough choice ... I'm in a similar situation but I chose the piano because I learnt how to play the violin before which is a stein instrument like the guitar but got bored but I've always wanted to play the guitar too!! I think it depends on the types of music your into to me - piano just seems easier pick the instrument which will complimet the songs that you like listening to because to me that's my greatest achievement - playing my favourite song Neither are easy but to me piano just seeeems easier :\ good luck with whatever you choose! Maybe look at some YouTube video lessons on how to play both instrument and see which one suits you best and seems less confusing ;)

I vote keyboard. If you have small fingers, keyboard definitely cause guitar is tough for a beginner with little hands. Keyboard is easier to learn in general to me and if you get a midi keyboard, it can play both guitar and keyboard sounds at the same time (not to mention drums and other instruments). You can't learn to play a keyboard extremely well without a teacher though. Plus you can take a guitar camping and stuff.
