Question: How did you learn how to play guitar?

I need tips because i have not improved in a while and i think i suck because i suck at solos

No one sucks at soloing. Even a solo with only 2-4 notes in it can be an impressive solo with the right tricks. At first, I got a private lesson instructor. This gave me a foundation on how a guitar works and music theory. Music theory is very important but you don't have to learn it. It just helps you understand what exactly you are doing. Then I searched everywhere on YouTube and the Internet just to find someone who could help me. That someone? Marty Schwartz on YouTube. He's the best online instructor I've seen. He's got great lessons, for beginners and seasoned guitarists alike. Wanna know how to play a certain riff you heard? Marty's got it. It's absolutely free, trust me. That happened to me too. i started learning and then gave up after couple of months and didnt touch my guitar for over an year. then again picked it up, tried to learn from youtube and other sources but again gave up. know what, at times you need professional help. u can check some guitar lessons here: for-beginner.com/ guitar-lessons/ these are some of the well known courses. not saying that u cant learn it off sites like youtube, etc. but there is no use of beating around the bush when u know it is not helping u. that learn and master course helped me a lot clearing my basics and all the professional help i needed to get going. thats what helped me really to learn how to play guitar. i'm not a pro yet but i'm a lot better than what i was before. good luck.
