How do you learn to play the guitar by ear?
I've been trying and trying to play the guitar by ear, but I never can. Does anyone know how to HELP me play the guitar by ear. I look at every note but none seem to be correct

Should i learn to play the guitar?
im a 13 year old boy and i play saxaphone and bass guitar. i was wondering if i should learn to play the guitar. i taught myself to play the bass and was planing on doing the same thing with the guitar. im not great with the bass yet. should i wait until i get better with the bass or should i ever try at all.im pretty busy with hockey and football and not sure if ill have the timemy sister has a old pink guitar that is really hard to play. id like to get a new one but i cant get a job yet and i dont have a lot of money

How to learn to play the guitar yourself?
I used to have guitar lessons but the stopped after a while. All i learnt was the basics and the chords. I would really like to start playing and get good, i would love to be able to play the guitar. I still have all sheets with chords on and things but would like to know if anybody knows of any good website which helps you learn yourself. I dont want any websites which you have to pay for i just want something which will help me learn good and quick.Also anyone know of any websites or songs which are easy to learn but which sound good?any help advice would be very helpful, thanks.
This kid learned to play the guitar, drums, and trumpet ON HIS OWN. He sings and dances well. Why hate him?
I think Justin Bieber's talents are not exposed so much if Hollywood is trying to control what he sings. The songs he writes himself are actually better and I USED TO BE A HATER BUT WHEN I WATCHED HIS VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE BEFORE HE BECAME FAMOUS, I FOUND HIM REALLY ENTERTAINING.
Learning to play the guitar, but I have hand problems?
I have an old Yamaha acoustic guitar, picks, and a small book from when I originally got it, which was when I was about 4 I don't know why my parents got it for me then . Now that I'm trying to teach myself how to play, 14 years later, I'm finding I'm having quite a bit of trouble. The guitar is too short for my arms, and I have to bend them awkwardly to properly use the fretboard. The worse problem I'm having, however, is that my hands spasm, due to cerebal palsy. Meaning that I can't hold a note for as long as I'd like, and I have trouble placing my fingers and then keeping the damn things there . Ironically, I have short arms, so a long necked guitar may not be best.Any advice for me on this front? Things I can do differently with my hands, or in terms of looking at a different kind of guitar? The style of music that I eventually want to learn to play is hard rock heavy metal. Thanks Keerow Hmmm... Okay, I will. I use picks now, but my fingers seem to work better, as far as control. Thanks for the tip I will, in my scant spare time that'd be nice. Ice I'd have to raise the money myself, and I'm eyeing a Schechter. Okay, good to know. Well, you're right, I haven't built up the muscles in my fingers, but the spasticity is a neuromuscular problem that I can't really fix I just have to work around it while playing, like I do in everything else. Thanks for the drill, though, it sounds really helpful I'll get to work ASAP. And, now that I think about it, if I end up not able to play the guitar, I could always turn to the drums. Thank you both
Just learning to play the guitar and my fingertips are on fire!?
Is this normal? I've come to realize that you reeeally have to press down on the strings to create the chords. In doing so, my fingertips hurt while playing and after playing. Side note I've learned my first song " A Horse With No Name" It's said to be the easiest of all easy songs, but I'm still excited
