Should i learn the guitar?
i been playing drums for about 15 months now and i like my music should i learn the guitar with the drums music is my passion and want to learn these two instruments

How to learn the guitar?
Hi I'm a 15 year old guy and I am interested in learning how to play an acoustic guitar I currently know nothing about musical instruments and nothing about how to read music or any definitions and wanted to know if there were any good books to read or videos to watch to learn the basics of music and the acoustic guitar? Anything would be helpful as I am a complete beginner at this and really really really want to learn how to play the acoustic guitar and maybe just maybe even do some covers of my favourite songs in the next couple years. I am also getting a guitar called the fender dg8s and wanted to know if that's a good starting guitar as it's close to my price range and if it would be good for a few years of heavy practising.
What's the best way to learn the guitar?
For years I've been curious about the guitar. I'll be 50 next year and I'd like to know if it's too late. I don't think so, but I'd like a little help on how much I should spend and the best brands. I don't want to get something so cheap I'll give up too quick. I'm just looking for a starting point

Im very musically gifted. I have played the piano for almost 9 years. So i know how music itself is done. i also sing and that is my main instrument. i plan on going and trying to be a country music artist. do you think it would even matter if i could play the guitar?

I have just bought an acoustic guitar because i seriously want to learn to play. I've tried before but gave up but i am deadly serious this time. I don't have enough money to get proper guitar lessons so i was wondering if there is anything online that i could watch, look at or subscribe to for free to help me teach myself. Even though i am sort of a beginner I am not looking for something that tells you how to hold a pick, how to tune a guitar or basic open chords. How long does it take to learn the guitar?
I'm thinking about learning to play the guitar and I'm going to get one in a couple months maybe and my cousin taught me some stuff during the summer and it was so hard just trying to strum. Lol. Should I continue the piano or learn the guitar better?
I played piano since I was like 8 years old.. But I wouldn't practice a lot and stopped my lessons later. I signed up for a guitar class when I was in 7th grade and bought my own guitar. I had to admit it wasn't what I expected and the music sounded scratchy and weird when I played it while my guitar teacher's sounded amazing. I'm in 8th grade right now. I recently lost my guitar though.. and I plan to get a new one for Christmas if I choose guitar over piano . All of my friends play the piano and I wanted to learn something new like the guitar, but it wasn't as fun when you're a beginner at it. The piano soothes me when I'm down, and right now I began to admire the music coming out of it. I can either buy a new guitar and start fresh, or continue my piano lessons. I don't have a lot of money, so I can only pick one. I know that most of you guys would probably tell me to follow my heart and tell me to pick the one I love the most, but I can't decide. I want to play something that I would find joy in doing so and not practice because I was forced to.

im going to learn guitar and i want to know is it hard to learn. im not learning music ive been doing music for 5 years its just simply learning the guitar. plus also ive been on the internet and herd something about guitar tabs. whats that?? on the guitar dont u play notes and frets and chords. plus ive been on youtube and watched some of my favourite songs guitar covers and it says the " tabs" are available for download. ???so yea thanks guys
