Question: Is learning guitar easy?

So i'm 'taking guitar next year in school for beginners but i want to know if it's easy to learn or not. I like music but im not an instrumental type of person you know , lol so ya, tell me if i should change it or not : )

Start out with a classical guitar if you can; it's easier on your fingers. You'll learn as you go, it's not that bad but obviously you have to put the time in if you want anything out of it. You might not sound good for a while, but that's suppose to happen. Learning an instrument is a great thing to do for yourself. Go for it!

It's not easy when you first start, but how many things really are? I wouldn't know though.. I was 9 when I started. soo.. don't change though. cause once you get it, it's really worth it.

Guitar is very hard to learn, it definitely takes a lot of patience to become good at it.

Guitar is very simple to learn the basics but can be evil when you start to learn stuff like classical.

No you shouldn't change i thought i wasn't going to like it and that it would be hard be it turned out to be fun and enjoyable and i kinda now want to take guitar 2 next year!!

If you want to play something easy, get a cd player and some speakers. You'll only have to press a button. Even playing the cowbell well takes a lot of practice. Pick something that you're passionate about and stick to it. It's not easy, but that's exactly what will make you feel great when you begin to master it. Play an instrument is probably the best way to communicate with anyone. It's easily my favorite language.

At the start, its hard But when you get past the start, it gets simple. And don't change. Because its not the 'hardest' thing. It sounds hard though. But still think of doing it, its fun.

You gotta love music. You gotta really put your heart into it. Some of the stuff they teach you seems way too easy, but it's difficult, as any instrument is. But as you practice, and if you keep getting lessons, you'll get better, and better. You will eventually become an instrumental person. But like i said, you have to put your heart into it. I like Guns N' Roses and i went to lessons at my school thinking i was gonna learn rock. But i was playing Ode to Joy. So just have some patience, and practice. You'll love it.

Start filing your fingertips.. should help build up the calists (forgive my spelling) which would help, very much so. no it's not hard once you get your fingers set up right.. oh and start stretching em and all.. your fingers that is.. mmmm.. also make sure you have somewhat large hands.. like my hands.. there width, when i streach my hand out as far as it can go.. from pinky to thumb it is about 22 cm? (i cant remember) or so
