What are some fun intermediate songs to play on guitar?
Preferably metallica, megadeth, system of a down i already know byob, btw iron maiden, pantera, led zeppelin, guns n roses, poison, the beatles... oh, and make sure to include a link to the tab video. thank youum, i do try to write my own stuff, but keep in mind im only 14,god damn, yahoo answers has become worthless....and whats ur problem?
What is a cheap good looking shredding guitar?
I am a good guitar player but and kinda new. I am still on my first guitar which is a fender and its not really what im looking for. I love heavy metal and rock. I like the look of les pauls, and am looking at an epiphone les paul but i dont know if it is a good shredder, and thats really what i need. I also want one that has a good design but is cheaper. The highest I can go is $500

Good acoustic guitar songs, please?
Ive been playing guitar for about 3 years now, and ive mainly been playing electric guitar but i would now like to venture off into the acoustic realm. Of course I already know some acoustic songs like stairway to heaven by led zeppelin, aeroplane over the sea by neutral milk hotel, and wish you were here by pink floyd etc. and would like to stay in those type of catagories. I dont want to learn songs by current artist like jason moraz or anything like that i just dont find any intrest in it so please stick with rock like led zeppelin, red hot chili peppers or anything like them. please help
Need advice for improving guitar skills?
i have a basic knowledge of chords and scales, and can read tabs. however i am very interested in any advice on books or websites that would help me improve, as im a long way off being a musician, but willing to work hard. I simply dont know what to learn next?thank you

Help with guitar amp?
Hey guys,I have a Line 6 Spider Mark IV. I was wondering how i can set up my own channels. It has 4 channel settings, but how can i make the channel fit with my own settings? Every time i change them it gives me some weird things that i didn't set up last time I was on the channel. Please help, cheers.
Putting vaseline on guitar neck?
so my guitar neck's not really slipperly or anything so i cant really slide down or up fast enough. so i put vaseline on the neck and will it damage the neck? i wipe it off after im finished playing also its a maple wood neck

What guitar should i get considering i play alot of different types of music?
what guitar should i get? i've been playing for 2 to 3 years now and still have the same guitar , i've got quite good and want to start performing but i dont know what guitar to get , considering i like bands from Bring me the horizon and slipknot , to the Beatles and led zeppelin , i was thinking a strat cause thats what simon neil out of biffy clyro uses and they're pretty versatile , but starts ar'nt exactly ermm , unique? i dont know i mean if they're as good and as versatile as people say then i will probably get one , but please comment on what guitar you think i should get , a guitar that can be heavy and distorted and one that can play well clean , thank you
How can i get used to the strings being so close on a guitar?
i played bass for years and was never good at it. i don't think i'm very good at anything muscial related, but anyways any tips on how i get used to the strings be so close together coming from playing bass when they were a quite a ways from each other. i find myself like playing on the a string. it seems i move just a bit and i'm already on b stringi can't even play a chord cause it feels like my fingers are mashed together and i just barely strum and i hit to many strings or not enough strings.if needed to know, i'm using a fender strat

Ok, this might sound a bit stupid but I need to know, are there different stands for a banjo and a guitar? I know there are different cases but I have a basic guitar stand from an old guitar. I was wondering if I could just put the banjo on the stand or if there's something special I need to do with it.
GUITAR STRUMMING. HELP?
LisaYour Open QuestionShow me another I just got a guitar, and I really need help with the strumming.?So, my friend gave me the chords for Tear drops on my guitar, and she told me to strum, down, down, up, up, down. She said I had to strum five times for each word before I could change. I am confused. The whole, I don't understand how many times I have to strum for a word. It just confuses me. I can't even put it to words.
Need Help With Guitar Pickup Covers?
Okay, well i have a black stratocaster with white pickguard. Im going to be replacing the white pickguard with a chrome one. Im also going to put on chrome pickup covers. But my guitars is like this one effective lead guitar.com image files fender strat pickups.jpg just copy and paste it in your browser see the picture it has 2 single coils and the bottom is a humbucker i guess. On the humbucker pickup the top one has the magnets and the bottom has screws. anyway what type of cover would i purchase to put over this. I would perfer chrome but could live with black. When i look up humbucker covers i get covers that you put over les paul style puck ups. please help
