Question: I really wanna learn how to play guitar this summer. where can i buy a cheap acoustic guitar?

If you want to buy a guitar, I would recommend you to buy something you really like and are within your budget, so that you would enjoy learning on it and won't leave it just lying around at a corner of your room. you can go to all-guitar-online.com for some advice and also to browse on some guitars that you may think you would like. I would not recommend second hand guitar no matter what as it would not really suits you and your playing.

Buy the best you can. Cheapest would be a catalogue shop (argos in U.K.) Second what style would you play as this does have a bearing on the type of guitar to go for. if you will major on finger picking as in Spanish style then a nylon strung guitar is best. if you will be busking or in a band then steel strung is louder and more easily heard in a band. Beware of second hand.I bought a second hand acoustic and the neck was twisted ,it still played and i still love it but look it over carefully;are the tuning/ Machine heads working can you tune the guitar? looking down the length of the neck from the top is it straight and not twisted? Better still get an experienced guitarist to check one over for you.
