Question: How to play guitar with distortion.?

When I play my guitar with distortion added, I can't hear what I am playing, all I hear is the unneeded grudge sound in the background. How do I make it sound clearer?

I suggest you buy a distortion pedal, with that you can adjust the amount distortion you want. I have a Fender Strat with a Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal and it sounds pretty cool.

Try turning down the gain slightly until you have clearer tone, or make sure there is enough mid range in the EQ on your amp or pedal

A lot of people think they need a lot of distortion, thats stupid. use less gain. keep the knob no further than 12 oclock
