Question: Do electric guitar amps work for electric bass's?

Technically yes but it's really not recommended, the bass' frequencies are too low and will damage the amp equipment

You can do that, but keep the volume down or you'll blow out your speakers. And get a bass amp as soon as you can.

Emmy got it. It will work fine. There is absolutely no threat to the amplifier. However, if you crank the volume up too high, you could easily ruin the speakers (as they are not designed to reproduce such low tones).
