Help with guitar amps!!!!!!!?
i have a fender frontman 212 r, but i want the peavey vypyr. the fender is really loud and can be hered easily over my drummer without pushing my amps limits. my question is if i buy the vypyr 75 watt can it be hered over the drums without pushing its limits and chancing blowin it up? compared to the fender, how loud is it gonna be?
Acoustic guitar amps?
I'm starting to learn to play a guitar. I bought an acoustic guitar, and have been looking for an amp because this guitar has a pickup on it and can be played through an amp. Are there amps made just for an acoustic guitar? I'm not wanting to play loud like with an electric guitar, just something that has a good tone.
I have a question about peavey electric guitar amps?
MY friend has a 65w fender amp and i'm wondering if i should get a Peavey vypyr 75w or 30w, because i've heard that the 30 watts are as loud as other brand amps that are like 70w i just want one as loud as him and if that's true i could save a lot of money to put towards an ipod
Are peaveys good guitar amps?
I am looking for a tube combo amp and its between the " Peavey Vypyr Tube 120 120W 2x12 Guitar Tube Amp" and the " Marshall Haze MHZ40C 40W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp " I know Marshall are supposed to be the best quality but the peavey is about the same price but it is a 2x12. Is the peavey any good. I've played the marshall in the store and loved it but if the peavey is just as good ill get that.i play classic rock....stuff like led zeppelin, black sabbath, some beatlesNEVERMIND ON THE QUESTON I DIDNT KNOW THE PEAVEY WAS A MODELING AMP
What are good guitar amps for blues/rock or jazz?
i like the warm sounds of jazz and blues. but i also want something that can handle distortion and good rock lead tones, i prefer cheap but good ones since i don't have a job yet and i'm not rich.

Deciding between two guitar amps. Help needed quick!?
Between the Marshall MG4 30w and the Peavey Vypyr 30w. They are the same price $199 . Which is just in my budget. I need to make a quick decision because I'm playing a small concert very soon. I know 30w is enough. I just need to decide because I have heard they both have flaws. I have heard that Marshall has a bad clean sound and is only good for soft rock to metal which is what i play but i still want variety. With the Peavey I have heard the amp might have glitches every once and a while because of its software. Do you guys know anything about these flaws. I only have this walmart 10w from when I started off as a beginner which is why i need a new amp.
Need info about guitar amps?
Is there a difference between an amp made for an electric guitar and an amp that was probably made for an acoustic electric guitar? I have an electric guitar but my amp came with an acoustic electric guitar, it has no gain overdrive but I don't really mind because I can just get a pedal. But really, I can't get any satisfying sounds in it, I'd prefer play my strat without the amp. Is it because I don't have the right amp or am I just using it wrong?
What are volume differences between tube and solid state guitar amps?
i know the sound of tube vs solid state and ive played numerous tube guitar ampsbut my guitarist is looking into the marshall Haze 40 and 40w is plenty loud for auditoriums and small clubs, but does tube really make it as loud as a 120 watt amp??
