Question: Can i just use dunlop 65 lemon oil for fretboard?

I just bought some Dunlop 65 Lemon oil is it ook just to use that on the fretboard? I noticed that when i was going to buy the dunlop 01 and 02 i said wait a minute lemon oil is a cleaner and conditioner so i ordered it instead, plz answer need answer.

Make sure it isnt a maple fretboard. But you can use lemon oil on a rosewood fretboard. You can easily tell them apart. Maple is white, and rosewood is brown. Your guitar will most likely have a fretboard made from one of these two woods. Maple is the only one which cannot be used with lemon oil.

You can use lemon oil on the fretboard. Mask the frets and you should be fine. Side benefit is playing it makes your fingers smell fresh.
