Learn How To Play Guitar & Guitar Accessories

Question: I want to start playing guitar, what is a beginner guitar (electric) and how much do they go for?

I don't know anything about guitars so anything else i would need and costs would be nice. i currently have about 300 dollars to spend on the guitar itself. im interested in playing metal, hardcore and rock. please help!

Go to guitar center and they have beginner bundles for around 200 bucks and it comes with the guitar , amp, picks, books, a cd i believe. thats what i picked up and it sounded great they have fender and bc rich so go check it out anything else just ask me

Well my first guitar was a stratocaster replica made by a company called california. it costed me a little over a hundred dollars. it was a really nice guitar, my teacher always commented it could stay in tune forever. but unless you know your gonna really want to play guitar i wouldnt drop 300 bucks into it. you can get decent ones for alot less. my only recomendation, dont get a first act.

Gutiar center is the best spot if you want a cheap price for quality music equipment, but if you really just want it as a thing to do and not seriously and really want a cheap price you can go to walmart i dont recommend it though
