Question: All about playing acoustic guitar?

I want to learn to play acoustic guitar in one or 2 years. I also want to know what's the difference between beginner's guitar and another that is not for beginner. The difference between a beginners guitar and not a beginners is the price and quality. You'll learn there's not actually any difference as far as the basic construction and way they work. Best advice is to look at a few guitars spend as much as you can because quality does cost. Find some guitars within your budget and look at the user reviews on a site called harmonycentral.com. Might be harmony-central.com basically people submit reviews of their guitars and other equipment on this site for others to read and work out what they might want. Find the one most people like and go for it. The other person who answered this question recommends this guitar so that's a start. Acoustics can be player with both plectrums and just your fingers. Maybe buy a plec because they're cheap. You might want to also buy a strap and some spare strings (buy acoustic ones, not electric or classical. Sounds obvious but you'll be surprised how many people mess that up) as for a teacher I don't live in the USA but over here in the UK it's always good to look in local newspapers or yellow pages but you can also go to a local music store and they can either recommend people or show you a directory of guitar teachers. Failing that find friends who play and see if they're willing to teach you or will give you their teacher's number. Enjoy learning to play.

I actually have that guitar. It's sounds really good for it's price. However, it is a pretty big guitar, if that matters to you. When you get your first strings, you should get extra light gauge strings. They'll be much easier for your fingers.
