Good acoustic guitar songs, please?
Ive been playing guitar for about 3 years now, and ive mainly been playing electric guitar but i would now like to venture off into the acoustic realm. Of course I already know some acoustic songs like stairway to heaven by led zeppelin, aeroplane over the sea by neutral milk hotel, and wish you were here by pink floyd etc. and would like to stay in those type of catagories. I dont want to learn songs by current artist like jason moraz or anything like that i just dont find any intrest in it so please stick with rock like led zeppelin, red hot chili peppers or anything like them. please help

Can you combine the signals of an acoustic guitar which has two output jacks?
My guitar has 2 active pickup systems LR baggs M1 active and onboard LR Baggs Stage Pro Element and each has a separate output jack kind of like Andy Mckee . Can I somehow combine the signals before they go into my effects units and looper? I bought a two 1 4inch jack into one 1 4inch jack adaptor like this thomann.de gb the sssnake 1852 yadapter.htm but this seems to cut out the signal of one of the pickups. Any Ideas? Its driving me up the wall.

Do i have to start our on an acoustic guitar before playing electric?
I'm very interested in learning the electric and have no desire to play acoustic. I'm more into metal rock and that's what i want to play. Not acoustic. But my mom and grandpa say that i need to get the acoustic first. I don't think i do. So if i dont, how can i talk them into letting me buy an electric first? I'm willing to buy the amp and stuff. I'm 14 btw. But i know this is something i want to do and i know i will be motivated to do it.

I just started playing the acoustic guitar, and I learned to play two songs on tabs. I taught my self with online lessons from youtube. Now comes the hard part. Learning chords. Its very hard for me to learn, so first off if you could give me the basic chords or a video that explains to beginners how to learn them?Also, I was wondering if professional guitarists only use chords? I want to write my own songs, but right now, all I know is tabs. Any other tips would be great. I dont have the money to take lessons right now, so I am trying to learn myself. Thanks

Electric Guitar vs Acoustic Guitar?
So an electric you need to buy an amp but, is easier to play. Acoustic are cheaper but, what should I start of with? I'm thinking about buying a Squire lefty Strat as my first guitar.I do a lot of things left handed. I tried out my cousins right handed guitar and it felt weird.
