Timothy B. Miller began playing the guitar at the age of 10. By 16 he had his own rock band, playing gigs when they could. Writing their own rock songs and doing some covers.

He’s first big break was when he was hired to sing and play guitar in a country bluegrass show band called “Doc Tommy Scott’s Last Real Medicine Show” out of Taccoa Ga.

He toured with them for two years from 1986-1987, the show band played a different town 7 days a week all over the United Sates and parts of Canada ten months out of a year.

After that he attended the GIT Guitar Institute of Technology in Atlanta Ga. He graduated in 1988.

After graduating he was picked up by a local music publisher in the Atlanta area after hearing one of his original songs in a bar. Tim worked with the publisher for 7 years and had 7 of his own songs published.

One of his songs was recorded in Nashville Tn. and played in 148 countries. Since 1996, he has taught 100’s of students varying in age from 7 years old to 70 at all different levels and in all musical styles.

His teaching style is straightforward with hands-on personalized attention, and he always tries to make it fun for the students learning. Tim is a big kid at heart himself.

This enabled his students to reach their highest learning potential. Three are currently playing in a rock bands just after a year with Tim!

Tim is very passionate about guitar and enjoys teaching it to others.
